Seven steps.
Entirely by hand.
Every Aurone piece begins with a carefully shaped foundation and a separately prepared outer layer. Heat, pressure and patient handwork bring the components together.
- 01 · Shape the foundation
- The foundation is shaped into a precise base, establishing the structure and proportion of the piece.
- 02 · Prepare the outer layer
- The outer layer is repeatedly pressed into a thin, even sheet with the flexibility needed for wrapping.
- 03 · Wrap the foundation
- The prepared outer layer is fitted closely around the foundation, following every contour.
- 04 · Hot-forge and compact
- Controlled heat and repeated forging press the layers tightly together and strengthen their fit.
- 05 · Shape and refine
- Edges, curves and proportions are corrected by hand until the intended silhouette emerges.
- 06 · Scrape and level
- The surface is carefully scraped and levelled, removing unevenness before the final finish.
- 07 · Sand and polish
- Fine sanding followed by polishing reveals a smooth, luminous surface and its final lustre.
