OUR STORY
Every piece
begins with a name.
Before the metal reaches the artisan’s hands, we review the Arabic lettering and confirm its meaning, order and form. What we make does not begin with a ready-made piece, but with something that belongs to you.
Begin Your Piece
A real workshop.
Hands that know metal.
In our own Hong Kong workshop, 11 artisans take part in different stages of custom jewellery making. The workshop carries 16 years of accumulated experience — seen in the way a tool is held, and in knowing when the metal needs more work and when it is ready for the next stage.
From the first letter
to the finished piece.
We begin by confirming the Arabic spelling and draft, then move through drawing and layout, the jewellery body and silver base. Engraving, gold covering, polishing and quality control follow. Every stage has its own time; the next does not begin before the previous one is complete.
Text approval → layout → jewellery body → silver base → engraving → gold covering → polishing → quality control → gift box → shipping
A name is not an added detail.
It is the soul of the piece.
Shapes may be similar, but a name and an engraving make each piece different. The artisan completes the essential engraving stages by hand, using familiar tools to shape every line and refine every detail until the name becomes part of the metal itself. Every piece is completed by our artisans through essential hands-on processes.
Tools marked
by time.
Some workshop tools have been used for many years. Their handles have changed under repeated touch, and their surfaces carry small marks from the work. They are like old friends to the artisan: the hand leaves time upon them, and they bear witness to every piece that passes through them.
Fine silver within.
Real gold around it.
Every piece begins with a 999 fine-silver core. According to the design, we select the suitable form of solid 24K gold and bond it through hammering, rolling and high-temperature fusion. Gold covers the front, sides and back; chains, links, clasps and pendants follow the same making standard. This is not a surface colour, but an essential part of how the piece is made.
For designs with a conventional surface area, the workshop standard typically uses about 3–4% of the finished weight in solid 24K gold. Actual gold content varies with size, shape and construction.
If it is not right,
we begin again.
We do not use polishing to hide an unfinished engraving, nor allow a later stage to cover a problem from the one before. If a piece does not meet the workshop standard, the gold and silver are separated, recovered and remelted, and the work begins again. A piece made for one person cannot be merely ‘good enough.’
An engraving not everyone
needs to see.
After a difficult chapter in her life, a woman chose to give herself something on her birthday. She asked for a wide bangle engraved on the inside, facing her wrist, with her name and birth date. The engraving was not made for others; it was a private reminder of a new beginning. This is what personalisation means to us: preserving a personal meaning in metal, even when no one else needs to see it.
A true story shared with permission and kept anonymous. The image is not a photograph of the original order.
Made here.
Then sent to you.
After polishing and quality control, each piece receives a final review, is placed in its gift box and leaves our Hong Kong workshop. Our work has reached clients in Singapore, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and other markets. However far it travels, every piece begins in the same way: with a confirmed name, clearly described materials and real hands making it.
MADE FOR ONE
Some jewellery is made to be seen by others.
Some only needs to mean something to the person wearing it.
