1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms apply to the website, product pages, shopping cart, checkout, customer account, and related customer-service communications. If a product page, written quotation, or order confirmation contains terms that are specific to an order, those specific terms form part of the agreement and take priority only to the extent of any inconsistency.

2. Aurone products and materials

Aurone creates handcrafted jewellery using layered construction and traditional finishing methods. Product pages may provide additional information about materials, dimensions, weight, finish, construction, and care. Because pieces are handcrafted or hand-finished, minor variations in texture, tone, dimensions, weight, surface marks, or pattern placement may occur. These natural variations are part of handmade production and are not defects, provided the product remains materially consistent with its description and confirmed specifications.

Colours and scale may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, display settings, and screen size. Images are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible but are not a guarantee of exact colour reproduction.

3. Product information and availability

We try to keep product descriptions, images, prices, and availability accurate. We may correct genuine typographical, technical, pricing, or inventory errors before an order is accepted. Product availability may change, and placing an item in a cart does not reserve it.

4. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received the order; it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order for production or dispatch, depending on the order. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance when payment cannot be authorized, information is incomplete, a product is unavailable, an obvious error has occurred, fraud or misuse is suspected, or fulfillment would violate applicable law. If payment has already been collected for an order we cannot accept, the collected amount will be refunded through the original payment method.

5. Made-to-order and custom production

Production may begin shortly after order confirmation. Made-to-order work includes pieces produced, completed, resized, engraved, personalized, or modified for the customer, as well as items prepared in a selected size, finish, or specification. Estimated production times may be shown on the product page, at checkout, or in the order confirmation. Production estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once production has begun, requested changes may be impossible or may require additional time and cost. We will not make a material change to a confirmed specification without the customer’s agreement.

6. Final-sale return and exchange policy

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, made-to-order and custom pieces are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange for any of the following reasons:

• the customer changes their mind;
• the customer no longer wants or likes the style, colour, finish, or design;
• the customer selected or supplied the wrong size, measurement, wording, spelling, delivery detail, or other specification;
• the item shows minor handcrafted variations that do not make it materially different from the confirmed description; or
• the customer expected a different result based only on differences in screens, lighting, or image scale.

An authorization from Aurone is required before any item is sent back. Unauthorized shipments may be refused where permitted by law. This final-sale policy does not apply where a mandatory consumer law requires a remedy.

7. Damaged, defective, incorrect, or misdescribed items

If an item arrives damaged, is defective, is materially different from the product description, or does not match the confirmed size or specification because of our error, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible—preferably within 7 calendar days after delivery. Include the order number, a clear description of the issue, photographs of the item and packaging, and any other information reasonably needed to assess the claim.

Where a valid issue is confirmed, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, correction, refund, or another appropriate solution. A request to contact us within 7 days helps us investigate carrier damage promptly; it does not shorten a statutory claim period that cannot legally be shortened.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental impact after delivery, improper storage, unauthorized alteration or repair, normal wear, failure to follow care guidance, or ordinary ageing is not a manufacturing defect, subject always to applicable law.

8. Size, measurements, and customer-supplied information

The customer is responsible for checking the size guide and ensuring that all measurements, personalization details, names, wording, contact details, and delivery information submitted with the order are complete and accurate. If Aurone supplies an item in a size or specification different from the confirmed order, Section 7 applies. If the confirmed item matches information supplied or selected by the customer, it is not returnable or exchangeable solely because that information was incorrect.

9. Cancellations and order changes

Contact us immediately if you wish to request a cancellation or change. A cancellation, size change, design change, or delivery-detail change is not guaranteed after an order is confirmed, particularly once materials have been allocated or production has begun. Any approved change may affect price and timing. Nothing in this section removes a cancellation right that applies mandatorily under local law.

10. Prices, currency, and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency selected or shown on the website. Currency conversion and final charged amounts may depend on the payment provider and the currency selected at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, product prices do not include import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, or destination taxes. The customer must use an authorized payment method and provide accurate billing information. Orders may be held while payment, identity, or fraud-prevention checks are completed.

11. Shipping and delivery

Available shipping services, charges, and estimated transit times are shown at checkout or in the order confirmation where available. Transit estimates begin after dispatch and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Customs inspections, peak periods, carrier disruptions, severe weather, and remote destinations may cause delays outside our reasonable control.

The customer must check the recipient name, telephone number, delivery address, and postal code before submitting the order. Contact us promptly if a correction is required. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after dispatch. Tracking information will be supplied when supported by the selected service and may take time to update after handover to the carrier.

12. Import duties, taxes, and customs

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, they are the recipient’s responsibility. Customs authorities may require identification or additional information from the recipient. Delays or charges caused by customs procedures are outside our direct control.

13. Website accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website for fraudulent or illegal purposes. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, customers, Aurone, or third parties.

14. Intellectual property

The Aurone name, logos, product photography, designs, page layouts, text, graphics, videos, and other website content are owned by or licensed to Aurone and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

15. Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to third-party payment, shipping, tracking, analytics, translation, social, or customer-support services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Aurone is not responsible for an independent third party’s acts or content except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or applicable consumer guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, Aurone is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was accepted, or for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information necessary to process payment, produce an order, arrange delivery, provide customer service, prevent fraud, or comply with law may be shared with relevant service providers as described there.

18. Mandatory consumer rights

These Terms are intended to operate across multiple countries. Consumer laws differ by location. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory right available in the customer’s country, that mandatory right will apply and the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law. In particular, the made-to-order final-sale policy does not remove rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or otherwise non-conforming where those rights cannot be waived.

19. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in products, services, operations, or legal requirements. The version posted when an order is accepted will generally govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with the customer. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
